We can supply you with good quality evenweave fabrics and canvasses in the following number of threads to the inch (25mm) referred to here as tpi. The pieces are all 12” x 8” (305mm x 203mm) square.

Larger pieces are available on request - please telephone or Email with your requirements.

Good quality silk gauze is also available.  Minimum 4” square (102mm).

To help you choose:  As a general rule 18-22tpi canvas is suitable for rugs and carpets, 24tpi coin net for rugs, carpets, fire screens, pictures and wall hangings etc. and 25-40tpi cotton or linen for practically everything.  The higher the number of tpi the finer the fabric and the more detail you will be able to fit into your work.

tpi = Threads Per Inch

Special packs are available containing ten pieces of fabric of varying sizes, colours and counts to enable you to start to build up your own collection of canvasses and fabrics.  These packs represent good value. (See our catalogue)
