Lots of us already have workbaskets full of half used skeins of thread and small pieces of embroidery fabric. These are ideal for tiny projects so I have produced my designs as charts rather than kits.
All charts are produced in colour for easy reading and I have suggested which fabric and colours to use. But, of course, this is entirely up to you.
Remember, if you use a fabric with a higher thread count per inch (25mm) than I have suggested, your finished item will be smaller and if you use a fabric with a lower thread count your item will be larger. You will need to adjust the number strands of thread in your needle so that it just covers the fabric.
